The beginning.
As the photographer and story-seeker, I have been immensely fortunate to sit opposite so many different storytellers. As Seen the Stories continues to grow, so does my desire to elevate the experiences and the achievements of women.
Starting with an idea to share the story of a school very dear to my heart, to an ambition that has developed into something bigger and wider than originally envisaged.
I Am Seen aims to demonstrate the brilliance of women from across the ages, backgrounds, experiences, careers and countries, one century at a time.

Women and their brilliance.
In early 2023, Seen the Stories found its way to Plashet School, a unique place where a long-standing environment exists to serve generations of young women to grow, aspire and be seen in.
What began through a longstanding personal connection and admiration for the school, I Am Seen began taking shape within the walls of Plashet.
Through the unwavering support of Rachel McGowan, headteacher of Plashet School, Alison Klarfeld Head of Corporate Responsibility at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and Lauren Gupta, a champion of Seen the Stories, a founding team was established.

The start of something powerful.
Using the Seen the Stories blueprint, a variety of current students and alumni representatives were interviewed, together with the extraordinary legacy of female head teachers and key members of the school's community. And so, the first century was created.
Plashet One Hundred was exhibited in the school's iconic South Hall in September 2023, sponsored by Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and individual donor, Lauren Gupta.
